Dr Nick Hounsell takes on a traffic control computer
kinda like there are phantom traffic lights
So you’re telling me the WEF is actually onto something with getting rid of people… good god let’s help them speed this shit up.
This actually happens right around the kimball or kedzie exits on I-90 in Chicago just about all day every day
As I think everyday while stuck in traffic … it only take 2 or 3 dumb driver to fuck 10000 others
One person on their phone. Solved
People are just stupid and don't accelerate when the jam ends. Causing it to continue.
This wouldn't be as big of a problem if people knew how to accelerate when they see the cars in front of them accelerate and not just wait on the one directly in front of them
TLDR don’t be the idiot driving a slow speed AND breaking all the time, you’re not being safe like you think you are, you are a hazard
The Flow.
These people are in my way! >: ( I think if I honk at them, they will move. Maybe they forgot they're supposed to be moving.
No see this happens on the interstate because of 18 wheel semi trucks. they have to go through eight gears before they can get to 20 miles an hour. And then when they stop they have to do it all over again. Leaving every car behind them stuck essentially. The solution of course is to create an entire different roadway for semi trucks.
Bad drivers causes most traffic jams
There's also a follow distance of like 0.4 seconds so they can't really risk that much lol
There's a reason traffic speeds up from 10mph to normal after passing the scene of an accident. People wanna 👀 I'm like great, let's move on ppl
Just shows how dumb humans are
Who would want to participate in this experiment 😂😂😂
Most people are on autopilot when driving and it pisses me tf off.
Well this is a random vid I've gotten lol
Bro you have people who go under the fuckin speed limit 😒
So my go to “JUST GO” would actually work!
Try tailgating, that always works
Sometimes when I'm driving on the highway, I'll brake randomly just so the thousands of people behind me can be like, "Hey wtf."
They did this on Mythbusters as well, everyday traffic in Chigaygo!!
If only there was a way to fuse multiple cars together and make them go in the same direction all at once...
What a weird way to prove that women shouldn’t drive.
Slinky, slinky, everyone loves a slinky!
It’s always the idiot in the white car
I will now brake for no reason when it's medium-busy
In order to break this trend, you have to drive diligently allowing for passage of faster vehicles while passing the ones slower than yourself. Anybody who is not meeting freeway speed standards and school of motion should take surface streets because it's a high octane situation for reals we just take it for granted.
and these days, its always a tesla... they even make bmw drivers look competent
slow drivers stay home
All it takes is one foreigner doing 45 in the fast lane on a dual carriageway. Or a lorry overtaking. Ultimately in 2024 most the traffic jams are caused by overpopulation, smart motorways and deliberate road work closures.
I saw a quote that stuck with me. Traffic, for the most part, is caused by bad drivers.
Too many people still work on-site. It’s 2024 and with that amount if cars, we should work from home more if it’s an ‘office job’.
This is where CGP Grey got it!?
People cutting ahead in traffic making more people stop making it worse making more people to try and cut ahead.
Cars are dumb
its just stupid people. that will always be our down fall.
I just see idiots not using the space correctly and probably the same people who cant speed match a car infront.
Forgot it was just over a min, was autoplayed next vid like huh lol
As much as there are fines for speeding, there should be fines for driving slowly and dithering about on public roads 😡
If im at a redlight and am lets say the fourth car in line. I always try to start moving immediately when the light turns to green. My hope is everyone goes on green (and not the first car , only then the second and only then the third ect.) But it never works.. i always have to eventually break before hitting the car in front of me . They never go on green
Where my BC lower mainlanders at? 🚗🚙🛻🚕
Moral of the story: bring the AIs
It's the Westfield 500!
I knew it was always that one idiot causing it
This model is a short loop so the jam is causing itself to reoccur when it bumps into the tail end of itself.
This is the problem basing driving on speed. If you keep the same distance, speed becomes irrelevant.
Women its called
this is one of the reasons i hate people
